Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Christ Himself, who is the head.
Reflection
Paul joins truth and love because neither is faithful without the other. Truth spoken to wound is not Christian courage, and avoiding every hard conversation is not necessarily kindness. Pray for humility, examine your own part, and speak plainly without attacking the other person. The goal is not to win an argument but to pursue what is right.
