Plain and simple
You never need an account, a name, an email or an app to use ACT1V8. Here is exactly what happens when you use this site.
What we record
When you tap Accept Mission or Mission Complete, we record:
- the mission number (for example, #012),
- which button you tapped and when,
- your approximate area (city, region and country), estimated from your internet connection.
These records are anonymous. They power the counts and the map on each mission page. The map shows cities only, never an exact location.
What we never collect
- No names, email addresses, phone numbers or photos.
- No precise location. We never ask for your device's GPS.
- We do not store your IP address.
- No advertising, no tracking cookies and no selling of data.
On your device
Your browser remembers whether you accepted or completed a mission so the page can show it next time. That note stays on your device and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes it.
About the numbers
Mission counts are self-reported. Every copy of a card shares the same link, so we cannot follow a particular card or person, and we never claim to measure anyone's faith or spiritual experience.
