Our mission
ACT1V8 equips individuals, families and churches to put biblical values into practice through simple, real-world missions. Inspired by Acts 1:8, our desire is to encourage believers to live as witnesses to Jesus Christ—serving others, building relationships and sharing the hope of the gospel as the Holy Spirit leads.
Why Acts 1:8?
Before Jesus returned to the Father, He promised His followers that the Holy Spirit would empower them to be His witnesses, starting where they were and reaching to the ends of the earth. ACT1V8 takes its name from that promise. The missions are small, everyday ways to live it out as the Holy Spirit leads.
Acts 1:8
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
Here I am. Send me.
When God asked who would go for Him, Isaiah answered with willing readiness. We borrow his words as a picture of a heart that says yes to God, not as a claim that every mission is a prophetic calling.
Isaiah 6:8
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying: “Whom shall I send? Who will go for Us?” And I said: “Here am I. Send me!”
Grace comes first
No mission earns God's favor. Salvation is a gift of grace, received through faith in Jesus. The good works we do are a response to that grace, not a way to earn it.
Ephesians 2:8–10
For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life.
For churches, youth groups and families
ACT1V8 Missions work well for small groups, youth nights, family challenges, classrooms and church-wide service seasons. Choose a value for the week, hand out the cards, and share stories when you gather again.

- Leave cards only where they are welcome. Never litter or leave cards on private property.
- Give cards with kindness and respect, and never pressure anyone to take one.
- Use good judgment and stay safe when approaching people you don't know.
