Reflection
Galatians calls believers to carry one another's burdens, fulfilling the law of Christ. Difficult seasons often outlast the first wave of sympathy. A second check-in can communicate that someone has not been forgotten. Ask how things are now, listen without forcing an upbeat ending, and offer one realistic form of support if it is wanted.
