Reflection
Proverbs contrasts hiding sin with confessing and forsaking it. Owning a wrong is more than saying words that end an uncomfortable conversation. Name what you did, accept responsibility, and take an appropriate step to repair the harm. God's mercy invites honest repentance rather than image management. Where trust was damaged, rebuilding it may take time.
