Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Outdo yourselves in honoring one another.
Reflection
Romans tells believers to outdo one another in showing honor. That runs against our instinct to collect praise for every shared success. Publicly acknowledging another person's work is a small way to value truth over self-promotion. Give credit accurately and generously. Someone else's recognition does not diminish the worth of your contribution.
