The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to counsel.
Reflection
Proverbs teaches that a fool trusts only personal judgment, while a wise person listens to advice. Humility makes us teachable. Ask someone to show you something they know, especially if you would normally assume you have little to learn from them. Listen carefully, ask good questions, and thank them for sharing their experience.
