Reflection
Paul instructs believers, as far as it depends on them, to live peaceably with everyone. That qualification matters: peace cannot always be achieved by one person's effort, and it never requires ignoring danger or wrongdoing. In an ordinary tense moment, choose a measured response and look for a constructive next step. Refuse to add unnecessary fuel to conflict.
